I received Botox injections at Dr. Ellis’s office and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The appointment was on time and everything was very organized. He was extremely knowledgeable & helpful about what I wanted to achieve with the injections. He was respectful of my budget limitations which we discussed at the top of the appointment and there wasn’t any pressure to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. Dr. Ellis performed my Brest reduction. I had been researching for years on the procedure. I came across Dr. Ellis during my research and I am so happy that I made the decision to contact his office to schedule a consultation. Dr. Ellis performed my surgery after the shelter in place was lifted in Chicago. I went from a N cup to a C cup, which is a very large transition. Dr. Ellis was great during the entire process giving information on all aspects of the surgery. Since, I had my surgery during COVID-19, none was allowed in my room and I had to prep for it alone. Dr. Ellis and staff was great, easing my nerves, walking me through what was going take place again right before and an amazing support system for me. His bedside treatment and support for his patients are stellar. I LOVE my outcome. I feel good and look great. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ellis if you are looking to have a reconstructive procedure. After eleven years of searching, first for a diagnosis (occipital neuralgia (ON)), then for a fix (occipital release surgery) I found Dr. Ellis in Chicago. Importantly, he had previously been a Fellow at the Johns Hopkins center focused on ON, and surgically correcting the underlying soft-tissue compression of the Greater and Lesser occipital nerves. At my visit with him, rather than responding that “there’s nothing surgically that I can do for you.”, he was very positive, stating that the occipital release surgery was relatively simple, and very effective. That if all went well in this 3 hour surgery I would come off the table without Occipital Neuralgia. I was a bit stunned, but asked “so I can schedule surgery with you?” And he replied in the affirmative. So surgery is scheduled, and I await returning to the world which I have been forced to retreat from. After 11 years of suffering with literally incessant neck and head pain normalcy awaits me.
